I have always wanted a black pantsuit but could never find quite the right one. Either it was the wrong material, or too short in the waist, or just an odd shape. Thankfully, I found this jumpsuit at Tobi and it turned out to be the best fit yet. My only trouble was trying to figure out how to wear it in the warmer months!
The easiest way to play up a black jumpsuit in the spring and summer is to pair it with light and fun accessories. Here, I paired it with a super fun and spring-colored tassel beaded necklace from Boho Bus. Pairing it with natural elements like wooden beads and the colorful tassels really give it a more casual, warmer look. I also added my go-to summer cork wedge for 1) height but 2) to add another natural, casual element.
Another way to make your pantsuit work in spring and summer is to choose a piece that has the right shape and material. The material on this is so lightweight and flowy, and super forgiving. It’ll be easy to wear it when it’s really hot outside without feeling weighed down. I also love the super wide leg and ruffle along the deep V neckline! Choose a shape that is less structured so that you get that easy going look.
Do you have a black pantsuit sitting in your closet? Time to break it out!
Tobi gifted me this cute jumpsuit, but as always, all opinions are my own!
